Geena Davis
Geena Davis is an acclaimed American actor, producer, author and a women's rights advocate. She has been praised in all of her roles on television, including her many appearances in Hollywood. In addition, she worked as a model before she became a film actress. From her childhood, her passion for music has led her to the learning of piano and flautist. The organist she played was at the Church located in Wareham. The path she took to become an actor began in New York City when she graduated from Boston University's Drama program. Through a series of struggles, she ended up working odd jobs, and working on other tasks before getting her break. She had been a model for many years before making her first film appearance, "Tootsie. The movie was released in 1982. Her acting career was extremely successful and she was awarded the Oscar Award. The Golden Globe Award was awarded to her as well for her work in a US show on television. Reza was her partner, and they have three children: one son, a daughter and a granddaughter. She also is active in a variety of social causes.
