In addition, she was a part of the team that finished second in the 100-meters relay. In 2003 and in 2004, Jones won the indoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship. Jones completed her education in 2005 began to put in the effort for track. The same year she also won the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track competition as well as Heusden.

Brandt, who was raised within Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings moved to Auckland New Zealand when she was in her late teens.
